    • At Mitchell Supports as an independent support service we take on participants that are Plan managed or Self-managed.

    • Claimable supports are services and aids that the NDIS pays for to help you reach your goals and improve your overall quality of life.

    • These supports are listed in your NDIS plan and can include things like personal care, therapy and assistive technology.

    • To be claimable, support needs to match the goals and needs set out in your plan that are required as reasonable and necessary.

    • Self-management is when you manage your NDIS funding. It gives you the flexibility and choice to decide what supports you buy to pursue your plan goals.     • Plan management – Is when a provider supports you to manage funding in your NDIS plan. These providers are known as plan managers.

    • Based on your plan; goals we will work alongside you to best match your support worker from information we receive and discuss to the level of supports you require to the level of experience our support workers are trained in, so we can best match you with the best fit for your circumstances.

    • First point of contact as Independents will be an enquiry from self- managed participants or a plan manager of your choice who you have chosen to help you manage your NDIS plan.

    • Plan managed participants can reach out to Mitchell supports by online enquiry, email your enquiry or mobile phone number provided on this website. We will endeavour to answer any questions within 24hrs after enquiry expect a call from one of our team.

    • At this point based on discussion of information and if we decide to go ahead, we will discuss

    • A meet and greet with participants that are self- managed or your plan manager and yourself if your plan managed at an agreed time and location.

    • Enjoy a relaxed chat about your NDIS plan, goals and what you are expecting to achieve.

    • Discuss Days, times and hours of support required.

    • Based on this discuss suitable support workers and availability.

    • You the participant can ask any questions you may have regarding your supports or if you would like a little insight into Mitchell Supports.

    • If you decide all the information will work in accordance with your personal goals, we can exchange contact details and book our first initial contact to move forward with support and start achieving your goals set out in your plan.

    • From here we will agree to meet at a location where we can discuss future support, get to know each other and start planning ongoing support.

    • It is your option if you would like an employment contract that outlines supports and expectations from both parties.

    • Mitchell Supports provide support to participants based on their individual plan; goals set out by the NDIS.

    • However, if your personal circumstances change significantly and this affects the support you need from the NDIS, you can request a plan reassessment at any time by completing the change of circumstances form. If self- managed, you will need to contact the NDIS and discuss this process via the attached email address or phone number.
